    • Kathryn: I don’t mind a bit! 🙂 I use a few different wooden backgrounds. For the Bacon Pasta I used a weathered bench. For the molasses cookies I placed the cookies on our porch steps. For aperture, I usually like to shoot at least a few stops beyond wide open. I use a 50mm 1.8 lens for the majority of food photography, so I like to shoot at around 2.8. This is much sharper than if I were to shoot wide open.

  2. Hello,
I currently had a job that requires me to work till 6-630 and my husband isn’t the best of cooks so I try to leave him and our children food in the crock pot and I am running out of ideas. We are tired of eating the same things over and over again. I was wondering if you has any good recipes that you wouldn’t mind sharing. I would also would love the recipe to this bacon & parmeson pasta.

    Thank you!
